My first attempt at performing live was in 1995 at an Open Mic night at a coffee shop in Parma, Ohio call The Southwest Cafe. It was the first time I had ever played in public and I was horrified. After getting a great response from the crowd and from Tim Wallace the host, I was thrilled. From that day forward I frequented open night nights throughout North East Ohio and began writing more and more songs.
My first paying gig was at the Coffee Mill Cafe. It was on the square in my home town town, Chardon, Ohio. I always had a nice turnout that included friends, relatives and newcomers who truly liked what I was doing.
Throughout the years I have played in taverns, bars, coffee shops, restaurants weddings, small get together's and at a variety of Open Mic nights in both Ohio and Arizona.
